Hello Bush Pilots,

These stops are numbered an have a DAY of the week assigned to them. They need to be followed in order. If you hear of anyone needing anything along the way let us know, we can subcontract another pilot to special deliver to them.

This week you will be :

Starting at SEQU altogether there are 25 items 13.400 lbs total that need to be delivered.

1. Land at SETE and leave 2 metal containers 2000 lbs each. (Monday)

2. Land at SEPZ and leave a small car 4000lbs. (Tuesday)

3. Land at SETA and leave 4 crates containing beer 500lbs each (Wednesday)

4. Land at SECU and leave 8 sheep for someone's personal needs. 300lbs each (Wednesday)

5. Land at SETM and pickup 5 passengers 1000lbs total to arrive at SPTP (Thursday)

6. Land at SERO and drop off the passengers. After complete go to the fuel pumps and replentish your tank and then go to the parking lot and get ready for the next contract. (Friday or Saturday)

As usual CC Airways Bush Flyin Division would like to thank all the Bush Pilots that make these trips possible.

I will post a map as soon as I get one. Has anyone seen a carrier pigeon around here?

Like last week the plane is your choice TWIN ENGINE IS OK and keep in mind the altitude is around 18,000 ft since most of the time you are over mountains.

I have a few questions here :

-How can I actually see the cargo?
-Do I have to connect to the CC FS server? (what is the address again?)
-I downloaded the Bush Cargo in the download section, what do I do next?
-Can I pickup the beer crates? Smile

Looking forward to it. Did the April 17th flight today, and really enjoyed it. Thanks for these bush flights, Com-Central.

Hello EXOS,
Answers to your questions :
I have a few questions here :

-How can I actually see the cargo?
A: I am currnetly working on learning to edit scenery

-Do I have to connect to the CC FS server? (what is the address again?)
A: The Ip is on the FS2004 forum and the Bush Flights dont have to be done online but can if you wish. Just make sure you communicate here with what is in process or what has been completed.

-I downloaded the Bush Cargo in the download section, what do I do next?
A: That Bush Cargo was for the week of the 17th there isnt any for this week yet. As soon as it is it will be posted here.

-Can I pickup the beer crates? Smile
A: Not until its scheduled delivery date. LOL

This project is still only at its 2nd flight I am positive things will improve and grow as the interest in it grows.

We're glad you like it so far Moser, that is our goal here at Com Central, to make or create fun things that everyone can partcipate in and this ties in real good with our Sunday flights.

For all those who, like me, need to know weights in kilograms instead of pounds, here is a conversion table for the above enlisted items:

1. - 2000 lbs/each = 907 kgs/each
2. - 4000 lbs total = 1814 kgs total
3. - 500 lbs/each = 227 kgs/each
4. - 300 lbs/each = 136 kgs/each
5. - 1000 lbs total = 454 kgs total

Weight in kilograms have been rounded up to the closest unit.

I didn't want to break a personal rule, so I chose to stick to single engined planes... but this brought a problem: the most capable in my hangar is still the Super Otter, and 4000 lbs exceed its gross weight by some 180 kgs.

What to do?
I accepted the challenge and wanted to see what was going to happen in case of overloaded plane. I made a first attempt with ballast of equivalent weight (so no to put in danger the payload), and once I reckoned the results, I decided to make it.

Of course, the plane had its CoG totally umbalanced, and it tended to bank to starboard, but you cannot imagine how sweet it this Otter if you don't try it!

2 metal containers delivered to SETE this morning - total weight 4000 lbs = 1814 kgs.

Of course, I could have carried just one container at a time, but I considered it a test for the car to be carried tomorrow, for me or any other taker.

I wish to say to our Coordinator that I never would have put to risk the payload if I didn't trust on the plane, and this is damn good! Cool

Yeh, I had to overload the Otter too, kind of a challenge taking her over the mountain. Not to mention some rough weather, clouds didn't break til 18000ft, and some thunderstorms in the area.

Otherwise, pretty smooth flight, even though the 10 knot crosswind was kind of a pain on the final. Great flight, looking forward to the next one tomorrow.

Moser, did you carry the car SEPZ?

And, MD, it's not clear to me point 5 and 6: passengers have to be picked up at SETM, but where have I to bring them? At SERO? And, if so, what's SPTP there for? An intermediate waypoint where to stop for a snack or business?

The fact is relevant also because I forgot to spot SPTP on the map Rolling Eyes

Yep your passengers just wanted to stop at SPTP for some sight seeing. Smile
And in case you didnt notice there is a one day layover in SPTP for the sight seeing adventure the passengers cant be dropped off in SERO until Firday.

I wish to say to our Coordinator that I never would have put to risk the payload if I didn't trust on the plane, and this is damn good! Cool

It wasnt the planes I trusted with any of the cargo, I trusted the Bush Flying Pilots !!! :chug:

The car is still there, and it's not a car, it's a Land Rover!!! I'm currently removing the side mirrors to fit it the the Chinook.
