The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Another to add to the ever-growing list of Armoured Cab Trucks.......Australian Army UNIMOG's...............

The current fleet of 'B' Vehicles has gained enhanced protection through the development and fitting of Survival Enhancement Kits (SEK) designed to provide further ballistic protection to the occupants. Also undergoing development are purpose built hardened Cabins for use with Unimog and Mack vehicles that are intended to further enhance the protective capability of these vehicles.

The box on the roof is the aircon unit of course..............

This also adds to the long list of armored vehicles based on unimogs... The UR-416 APC Dingo & Dingo 2 protected vehicles Armor Holdings has made a version South African Casspir & Buffel protected vehicles & Valkiri rocket launcher Even the Caesar self-propelled howitzer Neil

You've also got the Shorland S600, built in small numbers in OZ and sold to Kuwait or one of the other Gulf States. The South African RM-31 which has one version, the prime one, based around Unimog mechanicals I believe? Regards, BUG
