Hi guys,

Hey Gunter,
I am doing fine here. Getting the bugs worked out of my new system, and getting use to a new 64 bit flight sim. So far, so good. Orbx airports are going to start coming available for v4 soon. Also, plane developers are converting to version 4 too.
Thanks for checking in. Good to hear from you again. Glad you are well.

I'm doing ok too. Made a big decision during the end of last month to retire from my job effective 1 September. That means I'll have a little time on my hands to do a few things. I don't plan to just sit still, I may find a part time job to supplement my retirement and Social Security, but It won't be full time any more. Good to hear you are doing well.

Good to see you all

I picked up another joystick, installed Win10, FSX Accel and some other goodies, but I must admit, I need to find out what software everyone is using such as P3D, Comms, scenery, planes, etc... Wink

All my planes have rust on them and the hanger doors are stuck...lol

I am in P3Dv4 and for comms there is teamspeak still, right? We were connecting with joinFS before the split for summer break using the DigitalThemePark server. Be sure to grab the latest version of that. Scenery is Orbx, of course. And my preferred plane is the AS Beaver, but we occasionally fly war birds or the C-47. We usually decide what to fly depending on the length of the flight plan, or "how fast do we need to go to do this in two hours". I recently added Discord to my system, but don't know squat about how to use it.

Great news Bushy!
I'm on P3DV4 as well, but JoinFs gets us all together, FSX and all versions of P3D.
Sceneries are mainly ORBX FTX Global and the Landclas Files for North America, South America and Europe. But these addons, just as the full regions and add-on airports are no mandatory, just nice to have. But check out their site www.orbxdirect.com, there is also a to of freeware available.

I will open a new thread with the start date of our Sunday Flights pretty soon.
Looking forward to flying with you all again!

Thanks Gunter!

It's still busy around my house, but I think it could be freeing up in a little while... Wink
