Ofer Zidon is an aviation photographer, who takes exclusive pictures of the israeli air force for the IAF magazine. As part of his job Ofer also travels around the world and photographs in international aviation exhibitions.
The IDF squadron was very lucky to get to meet Ofer Zidon and even get his exlusive permission to present some of his photos and other material on our site. Every week we will present one of Offer's pictures on our site. The first pictures we are going to publish are taken from his book the "Israeli Air Force Yearbook 2005".

The book contains 92 pictures and over 200 color pages, recently photographed in many I.A.F events during last year.

Sample pages from the book are presented in ofer's book corner and in The Gallery part of our site:
members.lycos.co.uk/idfsquadron/

The pictures will appear on our BBS at first, than on our main page.

Enjoy (we do..)

...and there is NO BETTER WAY to illustrate the reason for JG300 squad policy bylaw 16.3.a which states, specifically, and I quote:

"Under no fargin' circumstance is any JG300 Swine allowed to stray and loiter within 250 feet of the active freakin' runway for a period of not more, and not necessarily limited to, 1 full minute, when any rocket, jet, rear-exaust, turbine, heat-emitting, or otherwise nasty-barbeque-hot aero-planes are operatin' and have just freakin' took off, which may, or may not, be carrying life-threatening payloads of tomato or vinegar-based grilling sauce, dry rub, tasty seasonings or other pork-flavor-enhancing condiments. Subject to immediate change without prior notice of, and by, order of the commanding occifers if and when they see fit or even if the mood strikes them as such".

Endquote.

awesome pictures!!!

Hi
The IDF is still active in FB, and we are in touch with Falcon altough he is not active.
It is nice to hear from you too.
If you ever come to Israel we will arrange some visits for you.
I did not want to publish it before i saw the responses - but Ofer's book is for sale, directly from him, his mail is in our site.
