The WWII vehicle listings should probably treated as highly suspect - but need to be confirmed regardless. A couple of the Stuart listings were accurate...

We have tenative photo recon confirmation of this vehicle. This is near where I grew up. If the list had come through before the weekend Doug and I would have checked it out on the way back from Aberdeen!

Ground recon planned but not scheduled yet

I had to run something over to my mothers tonight. She only lives about 8 miles from this spot so I went by to check it out. I'll post pictures later but it has the same problem the Frederick M114 has. There are different numbers under each of the rear tow lugs. Under the Left one is 571. Under the right lug is 576.

It looks like the rear hatch may open. I may be able to get by there sometime and talk to the Legion folks (I probably know some of them. That is where I went to high school) so hopefully I'll be able to get inside it to check the dataplate (If it is in there) or on the paperwork they have.

Bob,
I assume you have never seen a plain ole M48 in Weirton? I assume this is the T95...

Well I only was in Weirton one time, specifically to see the T95. It is at a Veterans Memorial so I think we have a misidentification here

Don,
Do you want to take the West and I'll take the East? Smile

I'll try and do:
Danville
Albany
Olive Hill
Russell Springs
Somerset
Whitesburg
Whitley City (both)
Georgetown

You all will have to understand that some of these will take time. Whitesburg is on the KY-Va border. I don't know when I'll make it down there. Olive Hill is a fer piece too and four others are close to the Tennessee border. Is there a deadline?

Hey I have the same problem in Maryland Friendsville is way west at the Northwest corner of the state. Then there are ones down at the southeast corner almost to Ocean City

I hope there isn't a deadline. I know it is going to take me a long time. I think Neil will take whatever we can give him whenever we can give it to him (at least I hope so)
