dont let me near that thing.... any time I try to fly a helo in fs2004 I always end up out of control heading endlessly upwards with no hope of survival.... Neutral

I flew this one myself and it was rather easy to fly, land and take off. Give it a try you may like it.

roger that! This helo is very easy to fly and you get the hang of it very quickly.

I need some help with it.

I grabbed the Swiss Recue both with and without floats. And the CC skin. I got it working on the non float version but the textures don't work in the floated version, any tips or hints?

Double check your .cfg file for the added section and make sure it's right you should have a [fltsim.0] and a [fltsim.1]

Aye, both the Swiss Rescues have the added section in the config files.

[flt.0] <=== Swiss version

[flt.1] <=== CC version

They appear like this in both cfg files. The aircraft reside in two different folders as well, IE one folder for both the helos with floats, and one for both helos without.

Now could it be that having the same bird appear in two different cfg files like that is causing a conflict? Also after I add the info from the readme to the cfg files they appear intact. After I run the game and then recheck the cfg files the info I added is still there, but only a few lines appear as they were originally, the description of the craft changes to the default description as well.

www.simviation.com/fs2...pters4.htm Is the link for the base helo

And the 2 different ones maybe causing a conflict I guess try moving the one without floats to another place then try it.
