Being a Guitar Connoisseur you will appreciate this. For our Anniversary my Wife got me a Gibson JS200 Acustic/Electric. Since my freebie Verizon account that I posted my pics on in the past is closed, I'll submit this web page with pics of what I have. Always wanted one and now I have it.

That is not only an exquisite guitar, but I watched the video and the tone is extremely impressive. She's a nice BIG Mama Jama too. I can only imagine what it sounds like in person.

Its always interesting to see what a new guitar does for your inspiration. What styles are you playing on it, and have you found that it is taking you in any different direction?

It is a beautiful guitar. after unwrapping it and opening the case my wife thought something was wrong because I just stood there and stared at it, was afraid to touch it. Laughing

It is a sweet sounding guitar. I'm lousy at explaining it but it's tone is deep and rich, almost bassy due to it's size but crystal clear. I've been a huge fan of this guitar because of those that have played them and the music they have created with them, to my ears nothing sounds like it. For an example of how powerful these guitars are check out old Everly Brothers videos, purely acoustic.

Not sure if it's changed my inspiration or direction much but it has made me give more of an effort towards picking which I've always been at best, marginally good at. I have noticed I've been playing a lot more "old" Country and Bluegrass with it, which I've always loved but have a feeling it's more a combo of the new guitar...and age. Laughing
