Massimo Foti R.I.P.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I have to inform you with great sadness, that my friend and fellow photographer Massimo Foti passed away yesterday. I guess a lot of you have known him as well or even met him on his MV related trips.

He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace my friend.
Chris

That's shocking news. I've never met him, but much enjoyed his prodigious posting of photos from far-flung corners of the world.

One of the most talented and generous contributors this page has ever had. He had an unequaled ability to salvage a great photo from the worst conditions.

He will be sorely missed.

Oh no! Just read this. Massimo was kind enough to accompany me to the museum at Full, Switzerland when I was there in 2015. Very knowledgeable and a great photographer. RIP my friend.
