The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I suspect the locals know the truth, it is more likely an error by the British newspaper. Maybe the company that did the work told them that story.... Who wants to bet thet the inside of the Grizzly is now empty?

So the text should read "firm [xyz] offered to restore the tank in exchange for spare parts" instead of "firm [xyz] offered to restore the tank for free"? But I am happy the tank got repainted! Pity they did not repaint the tracks, though.
