Youtube video of Detroit Tank Arsenal Being Built
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Youtube video of Detroit Tank Arsenal Being Built
Hi All,

In case anyone is interested, the link below is to a film that deals with the planning and construction of the Detroit Tank Arsenal and the process of tooling up for mass production of the M3 Medium tank.

I very much enjoyed seeing M3 Medium SN2 being put through the paces as we've actually seen that tank at VFW Post 745 in Newark, DE. How cool is that?
