S! all,

I'm hoping that when he reads this, Fled can post some pictures, particularly of the cockpit... Havn't quite figured out how to do this yet!!

Anyway - one that slipped the net - look on either Avsim.com or Flightsim.com for the DH104 Dove, file name DH104v1.zip. This is an extemely nice plane, and has a few repaints to choose from. It has one of the most outstanding 2D cockpits I've seen for a while, including some nice pop-ups - the cockpit seems to be a photo of an original Dove, that then has the instruments pasted in - but is pretty authentic - including the corrosion on the windshield stantions!! Razz

The Dove was designed in the late '40's and was the first commercial plane built in the UK after the war (apparently). Has a decent top-speed of around 180 knots, but cruises effortlessly around 160-170.

I'd certainly recommend this plane for your hangers, if you like the early post-war airliners its a must!

Thanks Stoopy - the Francesim site looks pretty good too! I can just about read a little French! Must admit, I quite like the look of the Caravelle (I remember those flying into Heathrow - in fact there is still one on the ground as an instructional airframe in Nice) - and I'm off to find an Argosy!
