The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I saw it yesterday for the very first time, and it's already among my all-time favourites Laughing

I have got to build a model of that and bring it to our annual contest. I bet the judges would have a fit when they see it!

Maximum depression could be better. Laughing

Remote driver trainer? I wonder about headlight and markers on a target* tank.

Odd antennae mount.

*Then again, it seems "ziel" means "goal" in German, so maybe target tank is likely. "Zielpanzer".

on which list will you put this vehicle?

On the surviving Pz 68 (chassis) or the surviving Pz 61 (tracks and roadwheels) Wink Laughing

It's already in the Pz 68's PDF. It was pretty common to mix roadwheels. See for example the Pz 68 in Hatten:

I am just back from Schaffausen, there is another one over there. And it's a runner too.
Six months ago I wasn't even aware of such vehicles's existance, and now I have seen three survivors out of the ten ever build. All three in running condition. Laughing

Sounds like a plan! I better get cracking on one myself.

There is another Zielpanzer 68 in Wildegg. That makes at least four survivors out of ten Smile

If there are so many survivors, does it mean that all the testing at the shooting range was an failure Confused

Or that all testing was succesfull Laughing
