Excellent Work.

I'm going thru my files to try and find some decent shots of a few different vehicles that may have been overlooked.

Here is one for the M551 Sheridan register:

This M551 is located at the Vehicle Recovery Area, Ft McCoy WI:

In which register would I find the M4A3E4 and M4A1E6, i.e. US postwar conversions of Shermans with 75mm turrets armed with 76mm guns?

I think the M4AE4 and M4A1E6 are upgrades of WW2 Shermans and not major conversion so they aren't in Surviving Post-WWII Vehicles Based On Sherman Tanks Register www.massimocorner.com/...ermans.pdf

and for now there aren't planed for publishing (beside the versions: Grizzly and Firefly) other Registers with Sherman tanks.

By their very nature, all Sherman upgrades has to be upgrades of WW2 Shermans.... Wink

Anyway, I'll have to disagree with you on that one. Both conversions where made post-war (starting 1950 IIRC) and the work done was major - at least in some cases.

Those delivered to the Danish Army were M4A3 105mm hulls which were modified to carry 76mm ammunition in wet-stowage containers. The turrets were replaced by 75mm mm turrets and re-armed with 76mm guns.

The upgrade was made specifically to deal with a post-war need for vehicles MDAP vehicles and they served exclusively in post WWII armies and conflicts.

I dont see how they are any different from the Israeli conversions?

Those are the same as I posted on PreservedTanks.com and described in the Preserved Tanks in Brazil thread:

Preserved X1 Series Tanks

Note that Escola de Material Bélico is now known as Escola de Sargentos de Logística - when I visited it I was able to confirm the presence of the X1 and X1A1 there, beside the road leading in from the main entrance, but could not get permission to photograph them.

If you find any X1 examples that I haven't already written up, I'd love to hear about them. I suspect, for example, that there must be more than one example of the X1A1 surviving.

Corrections for Picture 7 in the Stridsvagn 74 file. It's a Ikv 73 hull and a Strv 74 turret trainer. According to my info the Ikv 73 hull is awaiting retrofit with a former pillbox m/42 turret.
