They have started renaming bases after commanders you can remember making jokes about the changes they instituted when they took over
I can remember when Gen Creech took over TAC. He started a 'spruce up campaign that included a somewhat standardised color scheme on all TAC bases of a light tan overall color with medium brown accents. The color scheme was generally called 'Creech Brown'
Indian Springs might be a Predator downlink site. It is an outlying field to Nellis AFB and was used to support the ranges used for Red Flag and weapons testing. Back in the old days they would occasionally base overflow units at the runway there when they were having a big Red Flag exercise. So with a good runway, proximity to the ranges, a less active Red Flag schedule and being somewhat isolated it would make sense that they based the predator effort there.
