I am trying to prove to a guy that originally M114s were painted White inside, he says from the start they were sea foam green. Does anyone have an manufactures info, build sheets, testing photos, etc. Anything that can prove early M114s were white inside.

Thanks!!

I forgot to add, if you have photos from your own personal collections that show M114 interiors while in service (that is the key part), those would work perfectly too.

Silvio,
I have TM 9-2320-224-10 Operators manual for Carrier, Command and Reconnaissance: Armored, M114/M114A1 from November 1964. The only mention it has for paint is on page 157, it says: PAINT, gasoline soluble lusterless. No mention of color. I checked through the entire TM and that's all it has. My visit in December 2013 shows the vehicle at Danville, VA with rear door open, You can check it out, but it may have been painted much later it looks to be flat white. Then if You check out the M114A2 C&R (13C449) that's missing engine, turret etc, it looks to be sea foam light green. Rick
