For years now I have been watching these cameras mounted above eagle nests and on 24/7 during breeding and chick raising..
One of the better ones is the "Southwest Florida Eagle Cam". The mating pair just layed a second egg 1 day ago. The eggs need about 35 days to incubate.
Bald eagle chicks take about 3 months to they fledge, or first flight from nest, and hang around the nest for a bit before they leave. Watching them grow from hatch lings and develop personality is a blast. Other nest cams come on line later in the season depending on geographic location. Some have up too 3 chicks and watching them interact can be fun.
The nest cam season usually ends in August with the Osprey Nest Cams.
If interested, favorite. this site and other nest cams to watch the chicks grow..its kind of addictive..lol..
