Our hosts have been hard at work accomodating the request from some that would like more of their screen field dedicated to "text" and pictures without the "menu" sidebar at the left intruding. Well, we can do for you, G.I.!
Regardless of whether you are in the "Com-Central" wingy-thing mode (white with blue trim) or the AFV Forum clanky-thing theme (pictured), you will notice two buttons that work as described in the picture. One collapses the menu items vertically, but leaves the sidebar. The other one collapses the sidebar completely and fills the screen with the "forum" items...text and pictures. Makes for less "clutter" when you're not using the menu items. Also a lot less scrolling when youse' forgets the max picture size rule....

The AFV forum version is pictured, but it works the same in both modes. Of course, the "button" remains so you can recover the menu sidebar with a simple mouse click.

Aaaahh!

Thank you, Doug, for the option. Got a retina tacked back up in April, and a new lens in the other eye in February of this year -- it is very civilized of you and our gracious hosts to go to "Large Type version" just for me and other geezers on the Board.
