I've run across a similar situation on the DND photo archive site, there is only a text description of the photo's main subject. All sorts of nifty things show up in the background once you request the thumbnail and view it! Keep hunting, in the mean-time, here's an enlargement, for what it's worth.

There is a whole series of photos taken at this time that quite clearly show the vehicle procession. Can't recall offhand where I saw them though- perhaps they were in the Pathe series?
