This, or e-mail. Life's been a bit hectic lately, but I am still working on it - basically just double-checking all the links now...

As for Toledo, do you mean the one in Walbridge? 28846 Tracy Rd (N41 34.116 W83 31.654)

A few additions to the Canadian Register, new photos from yesterday at CFB Edmonton. The M109A3 is a fairly recent addition.

M109A3, in park adjacent to Churchill Ave and Hindenberg Line Rd.
Not sure where to find s/n, but there were some #'s stamped under the rear left lift lug:

M113A2 in front of First Field Amb, Quatre Vents Place:

M113A2 in park West of 1 PPCLI (may have been a TOW vehicle, note cupola has folding mount):

By the way-where does one look for the s/n on an M113?

Also a Universal Carrier Mk.2 in same park:

And for interest's sake, by the M109, a German LeFh18/40?

Cheers,
Jim

Neil, do you have photos of the tanks at Camp Atterbury Indiana? I have those along with Blanchester, Eaton, and Middletown OH, and Bluffton, Brownstown, Jeffersonville, Kokomo, Muncie, Oaklandon, and Winchester IN.

I also saw a new one: An M41 (essentially a wreck) stuck behind a van trailer on the side of the road in Kokomo:

www.bing.com/maps/defa...IN%2046901

It's immediately north of the yellow forklift thing.

maps.google.com/maps?h...1,,1,20.11

You can see the angle of the front track.

I was having camera problems at the time I was driving by and it did not look like a place I wanted to stop and risk the wrath of the lot owner by poking around.

Kurt,
I have Atterbury pretty well covered, except I could use pics of any M60s that may be there.

Thanks for the Kokomo info - an M41 is an odd junkyard item...

BTW, at Muncie IN there is also an M60, and at Bluffton IN's armory (500 E. Spring St, 40.7284, 851668) there is another M60. In Scottsburg IN the tank is an M4A1(76) HVSS.

Blanchester OH has an M4A3 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetary on W. Park Dr (39.2915, 83.9951). This was found by Mike Haines' son - I just documented it.

I am still digging out info and will forward pictures.

Kurt,
I have photos for the Blanchester Sherman, but could use good pics of the rest - any signs of M60s at Atterbury?

Visited today the AFVs at the fortress of Eben Emael and the Sherman in Mopertingen

The correct postal adress for the fortress at Eben Emael is 40 Rue de Fort (checked the number on the postbox at the fortress entrance) although my TOM TOM nav system didn't have the number ''40'' for this street.

The r/n are 52767 and 52868, but which one is which?

This one is at N50 47.800 E005 40.408.

Do not know the exact purpose of the wire in front of the lights and vision blocks, I have seen it on Leopard 1s at Vogelsang which were used for anti-tank training by the infantry.

The second one, located at grid N50 47.796 E005 40.449 (near the fortress entrance)

And an AMX-13 at grid N50 47.824 E005 40.442

The serial?

The Mopertingen M4A4 Sherman
Located at grid N 50 51.565 E 005 34.483. When you enter Rademakerstraat 3A in your TOM TOM (or another navsystem), this is a house close by the Sherman.

Neil,
The MVTF received 2 AIFV's from BAE Systems late last month. I'll be posting the photos on my site tomorrow:

They also received the hull of the FCS Lancer/Tracer Scout vehicle. I'll post those pictures tomorrow.
