#1: Tank prototypes from the United Kingdom, 1919-1945 Author: the_shadock, Location: Normandy, FrancePosted: Mon Jan 21, 2008 2:15 pm ---- Hello,
I'm looking for a list of UK tank prototypes developed between 1919 and 1945 and still existing. I have this list for now :
-Multi-Turreted Heavy Tank Vickers A1E1 Independent
-Heavy Tank TOG 2
-Heavy Assault Tank Tortoise (A39)
-Infantry Tank Valiant (A38)
-Heavy Assault Tank Excelsior (A33)
-Cavalier (24)
All these tanks are exposed/stored at Bovington
Are there other prototypes still existing?
Thanks
Pierre-Olivier

What about the Centurion Mk.1 at the TM? Is that a prototype?

I included IS-3 in the Russian tanks list because the IS-3 did participate to fights in August 1945 in Mandchuria.
So, should I include the Centurion prototype in the list? That means that I should also include the ARL 44 in the French WW2 tanks list.. What are your thoughts about this?

Marmon-Herrington Mk.VI Armored Car

EDIT : After a quick check, yes.
Thanks JH for the information about the Black Prince hull from the Cadmans, I've found a picture of it.
