Dummy OPFOR vehicles....
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

These fiberglass and/or resin dummies have sat in this current location for the almost 4 years that I've been at Irwin. I've never seen any out in "The Box". As you can see, the one collapsed under its own weight. They are actually pretty good decoys, but todays Scouts aren't stupid. As soon as they see no movement, exhaust smoke, heat signature, or any other sign of life, then the decoy no longer serves a purpose.

Hi Jeff! Hi Folks!

Those shells look very good. Sounds a bit like a good idea that just didn't work out as hoped.

Sgt, Scouts Out!
