Tamiya's Char B1, if you just cannot help yourself...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Tamiya's Char B1, if you just cannot help yourself...

Hi Guys-
Go here:
www.panzer-modell.de/
Click on the British flag at the bottom of the left hand menu, then click on
"References" now click on "Seite 3" (Is'nt this all fun?!) "Bild 53" is a photo of a Char B1 with the German 105 howitzer in place of the turret.
I say "if you just cannot help yourself" refering to those of us who just cannot build anything out of the box! Seriously, once you've built a French Char B1 what else is left? A Char B1 in German service? This gives you something more to do if you like the Char B1 and dont want to repeat the same thing over again.
Just sharing-

Several variations of the german version, also German Flamethrower, german driver training vehicle, ARLV-39, Char B1 Ter, pre-1935 Char B1,

I invite you to look for the Trackstory booklet on this subject (more on a rare B1 variant in the one on the June makeshift AFVs)
