I recall an old link on an armor forum about this add. It took something like 3 days and >200 takes to film.

The crawling windshield wipers creep me out!

I bet it did!!

The one thing that sticks out when I watched it were the tires running up hill. It appears to me that there wasn't enough inertia to do the task as hand and it looks as if they got a bit of help perhaps, but I could be wrong... Wink

Still, the concept is VERY cool and kudos to the development team...

I noticed that too, like an extra bit of "Ooomph" came from somewhere unseen. Maybe they were using "the force" (or a bit of monofilament fishing line or a weight taped inside the tire....)

My question is, as these adverts are supposed to be genuine, Why did the winscreen wipers stop after they reached their target, the winscreen was still wet so they should have tried to continue on...

Is that a sad question or what...lol

I'm sure there is no end to the number of mistakes in the scene, but that's not the point. The point is that it's still cool Mr. Green

Sorry X but I feel that is exactly the point. Yeah, great advert and a lot of work has gone into it, but I was under the impression that these ads take a huge amount of time to set up and film to get the sequence right and it's not supposed to be faked up.

Therefore my question is still valid, if this was a 'live' take, then the wipers should have not stopped.

(Sorry, I'm bored...lol)
